Bill Bauman

Bill is a purchasing and supply chain executive with more than 20 years of experience leading strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and supplier partnerships across the HVAC, manufacturing, food and beverage, and roofing materials industries. Throughout his career, he has managed purchasing organizations with annual expenditures approaching $500 million, delivering significant cost savings through strategic negotiations, category management, process improvements, and strong supplier relationships.

As Director of Procurement at Norlee Group (NLG), Bill leads the company’s procurement and supply strategy, with responsibility for optimizing purchasing processes, supplier relationships, and internal service across the organization. His collaborative approach and focus on operational excellence help strengthen procurement practices and support NLG’s continued growth.

Bill began his career with Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, Florida, where he developed a strong foundation in manufacturing, procurement, and inventory management. He later expanded his industry experience through leadership roles with Gulfeagle Supply and Johnstone Supply.

Known for building high-performing teams and developing strong cross-functional partnerships, Bill brings a strategic, results-driven approach to procurement and supply chain management.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts from Southeastern University and the Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) designation.
