AEC Electrical Contractors Acquisition Announcement

Norlee Investments LLC is pleased to announce the acquisition of AEC Electrical Contractors, a leading provider in Low Voltage, Complete Data, and Communication Cabling Systems, specializing in energy saving solutions for complete Design/Build, Fire Alarm, Security, Paging, and CCTV Systems servicing clients within the Industrial, Commercial, and Public Works space including Municipalities and Educational Institutions in the Jacksonville metro and surrounding areas. The closing date of the transaction was October 31, 2024.

AEC Electrical Contractors is a satisfaction guaranteed Florida corporation that was established in 1997, by Wayne Alderman and Gene Crossway, who have always put their client’s needs first. Throughout the years, AEC has made a name for themselves as a company clients can trust within the industry, and that will always continue as it carves its path to the future as the newest team to enter the Norlee Group (NLG) family of companies.

Norlee Investments LLC also owns Adkins Electric (AEI), Colwill Enterprises (CEI), Millennium Electric (MEI), and Tietjen CET Technologies (TTI).

AEC will operate as a subsidiary of Norlee Investments LLC, who continually strives to expand its market capabilities within the electrical, mechanical, technology, and engineering segments. This mutually beneficial partnership will increase the level of services provided to AEC’s existing clients, as well as provide synergies for further expansion of services by utilizing the newly combined expertise from the other companies within the portfolio and their specialties in traditional electrical contracting services Underground Infrastructure, Design/Build and Plan & Spec Electrical Contracting, Design/Build and Plan & Spec Mechanical Contracting, Consulting Engineering, Fiber Optic/Copper Structured Cabling, and Structured Cabling Systems for Multi-Family, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, Government, Healthcare, Law Enforcement, Correctional Facilities, and Hospitality.

Norlee Investments LLC will continue to operate AEC from its existing office in Jacksonville, FL.

Wayne Alderman and Gene Crossway will continue as Group Managers at AEC to ensure a smooth transition.
