Jacksonville, FL – The Norlee Group is pleased to announce the acquisition of Adkins Electric, Inc., a leading electrical contracting company throughout Florida.
Adkins Electric is a Florida corporation formed in 1977 by founder Virgil Adkins. Headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, it is considered one of the premier Florida electrical contractors, specializing in large-scale multi-family projects in addition to commercial construction and service. Adkins Electric has a highly skilled team and many well-established clients throughout Florida.
The Norlee Group also owns Pacific Power & Systems, Inc., located in Fairfield, California, and Millennium Electric, based in Orlando, Florida.
Adkins Electric will operate as a subsidiary of Norlee Investments LLC. This mutually beneficial relationship will increase the level of services that Adkins Electric, Millennium Electric, and Pacific Power & Sytems will provide to their existing clients, as well as provide synergies allowing further expansion of services by utilizing their newly combined expertise in Multi-Family Residential, Design Build, and Pre-Engineered Industrial-Commercial-Institutional Electrical Projects, Building Modernization, Low Voltage Systems, Emergency Power Infrastructure, and Renewable Energy.
The Norlee Group, with offices located in Jacksonville, Florida, will continue to operate Adkins Electric from its existing office and facility located at 10477 New Kings Road, Jacksonville, Florida.
Virgil Adkins will remain with the firm as a consultant, while Thomas Lambert will lead the Adkins team as Regional Vice-President.
The closing date of the transaction is November 5, 2021.
