Darrell Crochet brings more than 40 years of proven leadership in the electrical construction and services industry, including an exceptional 30-year tenure as President of Regency Electric. Under his leadership, Regency grew into a respected and high-performing organization known for its commitment to safety, client satisfaction, and operational excellence. Throughout his career, Darrell has led with a people-first approach, building strong teams and fostering a culture of trust, development, and accountability. His expertise spans all areas of electrical construction—from field operations to executive strategy—and his leadership has consistently driven strong performance and sustainable growth. Now serving as President of NLG, Darrell oversees strategic operations, ensures the highest standards of service and quality, strengthens client partnerships, and supports the company’s long-term vision. His deep industry knowledge and unwavering commitment to excellence make him a vital asset to NLG’s future.

Melinda Caragan is an accomplished Human Resources executive with expertise in talent strategy, employee engagement, labor law, and learning and development. As Chief People Officer (CPO) at NLG, she leads the company’s people strategy, focusing on talent development, employee experience, and organizational design to support growth and expansion. Since joining NLG, Melinda has built a robust HR infrastructure and implemented best practices to align with the company’s mission. Previously, she held senior HR roles at TigerConnect and Critical Alert, supporting global teams. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources from Columbia Southern University.

Rebecca holds a Juris Doctorate and a Master’s Degree in Resources & Environmental Law Studies from the University of Denver, along with a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Law from the University of Central Florida. With over a decade of experience in construction law, she has successfully represented contractors in high-stakes litigation, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance, securing significant settlements and arbitration awards. Rebecca has deep roots in the state and a strong understanding of the local legal landscape, the unique challenges our industry faces, and the strategies needed to navigate them effectively. She is an invaluable asset to NLG, bringing her expertise to complex legal matters and providing strategic guidance.

With over 25 years of experience in the electrical construction industry and honoree of the Jacksonville Business Journal’s 2024 Fast 50 Award, Lee brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise particularly in commercial and multi-family projects. His career began in the field as a helper before advancing through the NJATC/IBEW Apprenticeship Program, where he laid the foundation for a strong technical and leadership track record. After more than a decade of fieldwork, Lee transitioned into estimating and project management roles, where he continued to hone his skills and expand his impact. Today, as Adkins Electric Division Vice President, Lee is a prime example of how teamwork, determination, and grit lead to success. His attention to detail, deep-rooted client and team relationships, and relentless drive have played a pivotal role in the company’s growth.

Shawn brings over 30 years of leadership experience in the building trades industry to his role as Division Vice President of AEC Electrical Contractors. With a strong background in electrical services, multi-trade operations, and strategic growth, he has held executive roles at companies such as Dexterra, PGC, and Robertson Bright Inc. Shawn is known for his hands-on leadership style, operational expertise, and ability to drive performance through team development and streamlined processes. His focus remains on delivering excellence, building strong teams, and supporting the continued growth and success of AEC.

Scott brings over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with the past decade focused on electrical and low voltage systems. A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he has deep expertise in scheduling, sequencing, and optimizing project workflows to maximize efficiency without compromising quality. Known for his ability to lead large operational teams, Scott has a proven track record of controlling risk, driving process improvements, and delivering strong financial outcomes across complex projects.

Joe has over 25 years of experience in the design and construction industry, combining deep technical knowledge with hands-on leadership. As a licensed professional engineer and certified mechanical contractor, he partners closely with clients and cross-functional teams from initial design through final construction. His work spans a wide range of commercial, educational, healthcare, hospitality, industrial, and mix-use projects, consistently delivering high-quality outcomes through strategic collaboration and a commitment to excellence.

Jerry is a seasoned expert in the design and construction of complex mechanical systems, with 37 years of experience in the mechanical industry. He has specialized in high-rise and urban commercial developments, bringing deep expertise to some of the industry’s most technically demanding projects. His extensive background spans every phase of large-scale mechanical work from initial design through final execution making him a trusted leader in navigating the unique challenges of vertical construction. Known for his hands-on approach and technical precision, Jerry consistently delivers efficient, reliable, and innovative system solutions. His leadership and insight continue to be instrumental in the success of the company’s most complex and high-profile builds.

With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, and more than 25 of those with Regency Electric, Mark brings deep expertise and leadership to every project he oversees. His career has spanned the Southeast, where he has managed complex, high-profile projects including the Miami Performing Arts Center and the FedEx World Headquarters. Mark holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Florida Atlantic University. He began his career as an estimator and quickly progressed into management roles, consistently taking on greater responsibility. His extensive field knowledge, strategic oversight, and commitment to excellence have made him a trusted leader within the Regency team.

Ty brings over 35 years of leadership in low voltage and technology infrastructure, including 25 years specializing in systems integration across commercial, healthcare, education, and entertainment sectors. A U.S. Army veteran and BICSI RCDD-certified professional, Ty leads a seasoned team delivering turnkey solutions in BMS, fire alarm, structured cabling, and security systems. Known for driving innovation, operational excellence, and business growth, his career spans executive roles across the Southwest where he built technology divisions and secured multi-million-dollar contracts.

Nicole is a seasoned marketing communications professional with two decades of experience and a strong foundation in brand identity and strategic marketing. Known for her creative, results-oriented approach, she was honored with the IHA Global Innovation Award for Design Excellence. At Norlee Group (NLG), Nicole leads the planning and execution of corporate marketing initiatives, ensuring brand consistency across NLG’s portfolio of companies. Her ability to craft cohesive brand experiences makes her a vital contributor to the company’s growth and business development efforts.

John brings over 18 years of leadership in safety, health, and environmental management across sectors including construction, healthcare, energy, and federal government projects. A retired U.S. Army Captain and combat veteran, he has led safety programs for high-profile clients such as USACE, NAVFAC, and DOE, with experience managing safety teams across global operations. John’s deep expertise spans OSHA 1910/1926, EM-385-1-1, NFPA, and environmental regulations, and he is well-regarded for cultivating a strong safety culture rooted in Incident and Injury-Free (IIF) principles. His strategic, hands-on approach to risk management and regulatory compliance makes him an invaluable addition to our team.

Robert has a well-rounded background in Fleet Management, At NLG, Robert works closely with the senior leadership of all business units to oversee the creation and implementation of safety strategies and fleet maintenance schedules. Achieving the optimal lifespan and minimizing cost of ownership through proper maintenance. Managing the entire lifecycle of the fleet from purchase to disposition, to provide and maintain the appropriate fleet needed for the business units to operate successfully.

Teresa is a Senior Executive Assistant to the CEO at NLG, leveraging extensive global communication skills and a proven track record in high-stakes environments. With prior experience supporting the Chief People Officer at FIS, Teresa excels in managing complex schedules, international travel, and sensitive information with discretion and attention to detail. Known for a blend of creative problem-solving and operational excellence, she fosters efficient, secure executive-level operations across diverse teams.

Veronica is originally from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and a proud graduate of the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Recinto de Bayamón, where she earned a degree in Business Administration. She served in the U.S. Navy for six years, deploying twice in service to her country. During her military career, Veronica specialized in executive administration, providing high-level support while demonstrating dedication, professionalism, and a strong commitment to excellence. She is now the Employee Engagement Specialist for Norlee Group, where she develops and implements strategies to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
